Week 1 Pairings (Games Start 10/13/13)

I have to say they were very good games, talo came from behind in both. I had him to 110 to 7 and he beat me!!!! Very fun though.

Las prevailed 2-0, matches were 86 to -24 and 45 to 0. Good games - thanks again OJ and well played

I was able to win 2 in a row to come back after dropping the first game against Nimm.

Zallis and I are scheduled to get our games in today (Friday).

As of right now, Solforge is laggy for me and hanging on "Loading Games..." on both Steam and iOS.

Elaborating more on our games.

The first game I made a blunder and deployed my Spring Dryad in the wrong location, and never really covered. When Nimm's Level 3 units started coming out and overwhelmed me.

I was able to sustain a unit advantage in the next two games, but in both games, near the end, when the Level 3 critters started coming out for Nimm it became a problem for me, though I was ahead enough that I could concentrate on sending units through and just blocking off the monsters.

I think I need stronger Level 3s...

Unrelated to the games, I wish I had some Dreadbolts - they are so good!

Zallis and I had our matches last night. I recorded the matches and will add the link once I've finished editing and uploading.

Edit: I wasn't watching my available drive space and ended up running out of room during my recording of our matches, so no video this week.

I had thought I was going to lose the second match, but the turning point was my hunting pack triggering 4 times to allow me to catch up.

In game 1, you'll see at the 16 minute mark, Rallis had an HP lead of 105 to 11. By 25 minutes I win, thanks to Lyria.
In game 2 we're more even, but again I think the game swings on Lyria.
