The best way I have found is selling runes in the AH. Also Artifacts seem to sell very well there also.

The mobile app games are great for gathering planerite for those abilities and armor that you are going to want from the planar vendor. Saves a TON of time killing rifts to get those items.

Yes, you can get married in Rift. Liceto and I got married on Valentines day last year in Rift when they were trying to set a world record for the most in game weddings on one day. It was a very cool instance and a lot of fun.

Probably not, WoW has gone waaaayyyy beyond us and we are enjoying Rift. Especially like the part where you don't have to be a slave to armor and upgrades to enjoy the game which is great for them more casual player.
