I played this for a while, I think I even bought stuff, but quit faster than I did Evony or Kingdoms of Camelot, both of which were similar.

It reminded me that the fun games of the old days sometimes weren't that fun, they were just what was available.

That wall just seems pretty high for an unproven game if it's the only way to get it.

A new expansion would explain the $19.99 price for the three earlier ones on Steam this week.

Ultima IV? That game was incredibly long, or we weren't doing it right. It outlasted a C64's video chip and I hadn't finished it when I went to PC clones.
I remember having a notebook full of notes to compare with someone else who was also playing it.
