This is a pixel art, side-scrolling, shoot-em-up. I've watched a couple Let's Plays on it, and it looks like a lot of fun.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent
The best survival horror game ever made. I say that completely without reservations.

Retrovirus
This is a full 360-degree shooter, like the old Descent games. The campaign can also be played co-operatively.

Chaos on Deponia
And old-school point and click adventure for the modern times. THe original was critically acclaimed so I can only assume the sequel is pretty good too.

Space trading and combat game. Can play this space sim single-player or co-operative.
