So I started playing the free version the other night. Son seemed interested so made him a character and he stayed up until 6am and then played from 3pm-12m. He caught up to me, and he had not played this kind of game before.

So, on a free account, can you join a guild? If so, how do we find any of you guys? Do we have Republic and Sith guilds same server or just Republic?

As far as I know there is no restriction on joining a Guild from a free account, as I'm fairly certain a trail account can still join Guilds.

Yep, Abin was originally on the trial and Quilien, I think?

Full free to play up to level 50 will be here this fall, no Offical date yet:(. Just starter worlds atm.

Yep, I had remembered you were on Ebon Hawk after I made my first 2 characters so I switched over to that. I will try to download teamspeak and come say hi. I don't believe with a trial account i was able to use /who or /tells. with the game being only 14.99 to purchase I may do that when we hit 15. Do people play Republic or Empire more?

Zyera, Valik, and myself have been pretty active on the Empire side recently. I know Brandy, Riveni, Xylidian, and Aglavalin are all fairly active on Republic, and I try to show up once a night on Pub side too.

Admittedly, attendance is down a little, assuming because of the Guild Wars 2 release.

Republic is our main focus with most of us having a lvl 50 or 2, Sith is our alts, so fewer are active on the sith side.

I will make a Republic guy then also. Anything that is needed in case I get into it. My son is 11 Shadow atm. Do we need tanks, healers, dps...again no guarantee yet how long I will play....and no don't say play what you want, haha.

it will take you a month or so to get to 50, but has raiding goes right now:

We need ranged dps, so smugglar and trooper dps.
We need a trooper tank.
we are pretty good on healers, we have several members with alt healers and main healers.
we have a abundance of shadow tanks and dps.
