Magelo client

Does anyone use the Magelo client? I've been looking around the website and a large portion of its functions refuse to work unless you install some program called Magelo Sync on your hard drive. As with all such programs, I'm very suspicious about how intrusive it is, how much of your computer it "sneaks around" into. Does anyone use this program, and if so, what is your take on it? Do you trust it?
