bah i still got to wait a week or 2 to buy it! the anticipation is murderous!

I am still waiting on a new computer but didn't realize how expensive guild wars is. Do they offer a brief trial period or anything so I can see if I enjoy the play-style before I buy?

No, the game is too new for anything like that yet. If you're interested about what it's like, check the GW2 website, or youtube - there are a lot of videos that will give you a good idea what the gameplay is all about. And the beauty of it is, once you do purchase it, the game is free to play! :D

Yes, GW2 *IS* expensive but you never have to buy anything else (unless you want to purchase stuff through their store.) I hope they will offer some sort of trial period but I don't think it will be for a while though. Regardless, I can't wait to see you in there! I think you will enjoy it. :D

Hehe I know. I just figured it would be entertaining with you in TS yelling at me to do something with the character and everyone else wondering what was going on. :troll

Hopefully a free trial thing will come out soon once the initial release is all done.
