Not dead yet!

While CU has seriously missed the deadline to begin Alpha testing, rest assured it's just the normal sort of lateness for a software project (you have the first 90% of the schedule, and then you have the second 90% of the schedule). Internal tests are happening, and progress is evident. Mark blames the delay on taking six months longer than expected to hire developers - an excuse I completely believe, since my own (non-game) software team has had that same difficulty.
So, don't lose hope for this one - it will probably still do better by its deadlines than Blizzard does with new games.
