Servers is now back up!!

Yup, I meant 3GB. FYI... how old am I? My first computer was a C64. My first DOS computer (yes DOS) had a 10MB hard drive with 128K memory. Those were the days...

PS... There is a teak file which fixes spawns back to the ver 11 spawn rate up in the Steam forums. If you think they're fine then it's either not an issue or someone fixed it.

Your killing me ... I committed to Nesrook that I'd get him the game if he got As on 2 projects. Project #1 came back at 79.2%... pretty close. He still has to submit project #2. However... now he's getting back into DCUO and is considering if he wants to get the powers expansions there instead of 7 Days. If I knew he wasn't getting 7 Days I'd get it now, but I don't want to have to pay full price for 2 copies (I'm super cheap!).

Looks like the sale will be on for ~2 weeks (not sure, but it says 13:18:48:53 remaining.. which I assume is 13 days and 18:48 hours).

I made it to the location (at least i think it's the location... 2 buildings? No zombies around so I think it must be the place. Took me 4 tries to get there (f'n dogs. one chased me through 2 biomes). Got bundles of stuff in my backpack, but need to make a bed. no more time to play tonight...

So about the server...

When someone is on, time moves forward. When nobody is on, I am guessing time stops. As of yesterday afternoon it was around 4PM on Day 3. The amount of resources at the "base house" was very surprising given that only 3 game days had passed... Any idea if there will be issues of advancing time without many people being on? For example...if I log our at noon Day 7 and the next person logs in for the first time, will they be greeted by a hoard on their first night?

Another question - are NOR friends invited to the server as well? (considerate PVE players). I have a few friends I was planning to play with who all picked up the game during the Humble Spring Sale, and while we could play Local MP, having a server would mean we wouldn't need to wait for the host to start it up. Given the way time advances, I'm not sure which is best for a regular 7-days night game though...

Which brings me to my last question... any interest in getting a semi-regular 7-days night going on the server?

First, glad to hear you got it!

Second, if you are at a farm house then yes that is the start of the base for the server! Time only progresses when someone is on the server so yes if some brand new person logs onto the server the game will take off from where ever the last person left at. Also yes! It's perfectly okay to bring people in, the more people the better which allows us to gather more resources and make bigger, better items! As long as everyone contributes supplies and doesn't just take everything, if Rt or I notice something fishy we'll set something up for managing resources.

Normally there isn't a night that RT and myself aren't on the game, you can normally find one of us in there and or on TS. Also seeing how there is now 7 of us that have the game we could really do some awesome stuff!!

I hosted a game with 4 tonight (including me - playing and hosting). A bit of lag but not too bad. We are on day 7 of that game so I think we'll play through that and then move onto the NOR permanent server.

I put some stuff in the house, and filled in some holes that some nasty crawlers were digging to get at me. That sleeping bag in the basement is mine .
