I "think" I've gotten used to the new ECC. I don't know what advice to add or modify.

Guide is fora 2k party; however, our item levels are slightly better, so we don't have to follow everything through to the letter.

It talks about groups, runthrough, bosses, and Traven.

For groups, I feel that you really just need Tank + 2x DPS + Controller + Healer. Nothing fancy or unexpected. Guide reccommends OP, but i think GF can work. HR or CW are decent enough for Controllers, all we need are the mobs in one place so we can kill them and Traven.

We know how to kill the mobs, but certain encounters are fairly difficult. After lighting the torches and passing through the gate, the area before the second campfire (with the traps) is, IMO, one of the harder encounters. For that one, take it slow, and don't incur the wrath of the 5 archers.

As for the bosses...

First Boss: Tank + Spank. Straightforward. If we really need to, we can bait him to one of the corners to avoid having to deal with lots of mobs.

Second: KILL THE CLERIC. THEN THE WIZARDS. THEN THE FIGHTERS. If we have to, fight them in the hallway. And STUNLOCK STUNLOCK STUNLOCK.

Traven: Do we want to go for the "zigzag" pattern or "Get rid of fire every 4-5 grenades"?

Other than that, the guide looks solid.

According to the latest patch notes:

Cragmire Crypts: Traven Blackdagger's teleport attack has been changed to a "lunge to target" type attack.

Perhaps ECC is now do-able? Worth a shot.

Would be interesting to try if only bc in the past month people have improved their characters a lot.

I'd actually say that this makes ECC harder.

Glitch aside, I'd say that a charge towards target ala Lunging Strike/Relentless Avenger is harder to dodge/block on reaction than the slow "teleport behind, then stab".

But hey, if we're going on a Suicide Mission, let's wait until after or at the end of Double RP. It's time we showed Traven our new teeth.
