(OOC) Crossroads: Prelude

This story was originally intended as a short prelude to "Crossroads", a story featuring my sage, Faoileán. As it happens it's still a prelude, just not a short one It evolved from a collaborative thread we were running on the forum of my previous guild, and where I took my first steps in SWTOR RP.

Faoileán's story turned out to run mostly in parallel to the main plot of the guild RP rather than be directly involved with it, so I decided to surgically extract it and turn it into a separate story. It was also the starting point for a very fun collaboration with Ismene, and since we may resume that at some point, I thought I'd go ahead and post "Crossroads" and its prequel to provide the necessary context.

I gave the story a thorough overhaul, in particular to remove any characters not owned by me. The only exception to this are two of Ismene's characters who will appear in the second half of the story, and whom I used with her permission (thanks Ismene!)

Credit where credit is due - today's post marks the appearance of Master Zaahir Kos, who wasn't created by me but belongs to Ismene. Since he was in the original collaborative story as well, and his appearance there had some rather long-term consequences, I'm grateful that Ismene gave me permission to leave him in the story. Besides, I think he's a great character
