A few of us have noticed that gmail seems to consider NOR notifications to be spam (naughty gmail!). You may want to consider adding a filter in your gmail account that tells it never to flag NOR notifications as spam. Here is what I did to fix the problem:
- From your gmail client, click the gear icon in the top right corner and choose "settings"
- Select the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" context menu.
- Choose "Create New Filter" towards the bottom of the screen.
- In the "From" field, enter newoutriders.org (this will prevent any mail from NOR going to spam, such as newsletters)
- At the bottom right hand of the box click "Create filter with this search"
- On the next page, check the box that says "Never send it to Spam"
- Then select the blue "Create Filter" box
Now you'll know immediately when a NORbie is trying to reach you via PMs on the forums.
