So...it has come to point in this game where I think we need to do some pre-planning for a real raid. Below are some simple rules and sign ups to make coordinating 20+ people a bit easier come next Friday:
1. Dragonflight will be on Fridays 7:30P PST (GMT-7). The guild bank toon will use a bell to activate the event. If anyone is willing to donate some bells, that'd be much appreciated too.
2. If you have signed up for a slot below, please log on and meet your team at the fountain in the Stronghold no later than 7:15P. If you have not signed up for a slot, and the event is already going when you log on, no problem, just head south towards the Green/Black Team, otherwise known as "The Herd."
3. All officers and team leaders are expected to be on Teamspeak. All other members are highly encouraged to be on Teamspeak even if you're just listening in. Teamspeak instructions are here: http://newoutriders.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=9
4. During the actual fighting against the dragons, please consider using Push-To-Talk on Teamspeak. Please keep chatter and banter to text-based channels such as party chat or raid chat. The raid chat channel is "/raid," and it's wider than "/say" because it has no limit on distance.
Red Team
Tank/Team Leader: Tyrandil (as Talana Wayfair GF)
High Prophet Cleric: Phel (on Edyth Faithful-Haste DC)
High Vizier CW: Aratech?
Primary DPS: Quewana on GWF
Support DPS:
Green/Black Team
Primary Tank/Team Leader: Ziek on GF
Secondary Tank: Tundrra on GF
High Prophet Cleric:
High Vizier CW:
Primary Healers: Bluebutton and Gina
Primary DPS: Hector and John Rain
Black dragon killers:
DPS/Team Leader: Nimblee
DPS: Udokas
The above is what I would call "The Core." Everyone else, please feel free to bring any class you want and follow the Green/Black team. Being in a party will give you some healthy buffs and heals, but it's not absolutely essential if you happen to log on late for the event.
Those of you who are below Level 70, the Red Dragon on the north end of the map is probably a safer place to participate than the Green Dragon on the south end. Reasons are the arena is bigger with more places for you to run or hide, and there is no green gas to automatically kill you.
As it stands, those of you who've played this game before they raised the level cap in Mod 6, please look in your closets and see if you have a full set of High Prophet or High Vizier sitting around. You'll be one-shotted for sure, but we can really use the combined debuffs on each dragon.
Everyone please feel free to weigh in on the strategy thread: http://newoutriders.org/forums/viewtopi ... 149&t=4396

You can throw me in the green/black tanking category and assume I'll be there weekly. Unless on vacation, it's a holiday or something crazy happens, I'll be there.
Rabbit's SW will likely be around as well but never know if she'll be home from work on time so she won't be taking a core spot.

It has worked in the past leaving me and Udokas or Nem at Black for the finish.
As for TeamSpeak, there are somethings where realtime communications can help, Dragonflight is one of those things.

Re: 3/25/2016 Dragonflight sign ups!
I would not advise putting both of us on Red.
I found it was much better that I go with the Green/Black team (Q's PC can't handle the fog) and help the double Dragon Team get a more consistent whittle.
You only need double High set on Red, since that team has less players. Green needs just one High set.
When Santhus/Nors went solo High Prophet on the Black + Green Dragons, we found we had enough deeps to whittle down the duo.

Re: 3/25/2016 Dragonflight sign ups!
I think for what is currently at green/black it would make sense to have tundrra and i form seperate groups for maximum buffing.
For example:
Group 1
1 Ziek
2 Bluebutton
3 Hector
4 Put 1 high set here (vizier or prophet)
5 dps
Group 2
1 Tundrra
2 Gina
3 Rain
4 Other high set goes here
5 dps
This will help us spread the itf buffs and keep the high sets within protective tank/healing circles.

I will be there on Eravan. Can assist with any dragon as needed. Red is fine.
