Guild Hall Tour

Post by Zyera »

How do I get there?

Open your guild panel and hit the Guild Hall button on the top right hand side! Anyone can visit. HoT is not required.

Map:

Here is the map of our Guild Hall with some of the important features labelled.

How do I donate items?

There are a few ways to help! First, you need to know what we need as a guild for the next upgrades. You can see what we are working on through forum posts here, MotD or talking to the NPCs in the Guild Hall. You donate items to the Treasury, but you can also donate to the Guild Stash (50 slot tab guild bank tab) and then we can add it to the Treasury.

If you can't make an item for donation, we happily accept crafting components in the Guild Stash (50 slot tab guild bank tab) to said items to help craft them for the guild! Components are just as helpful!
  • Example: Elder Wood Planks and Linseed Oil/Flax Seeds for Empty Kegs
GW2 Wiki is extremely helpful on finding info on items you might not know how to obtain/farm/create: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Main_Page

You can also access the wiki in game by typing /wiki into chat. You can add text behind /wiki to search the wiki for that term. Example: /wiki glob of ectoplasm

This guy can tell you what items we need, but it is a collection of all available upgrades, not specific ones. He is found as soon as you enter the Guild Hall.

What if I want to see what current upgrade we are working on?

Just head on over to any of the NPCs (Tavern, Mine, etc) that are on the map. They will tell you what upgrades we have available and what we need.

For example if you travel to the Market, the NPC there will tell you what items we need specifically for an upgrade instead of a large collection of all available upgrades.

Hope this helps! Let any of the officer know if you have questions! We add posts and MotD's about what current upgrades we are working towards.

Daily free stuff?! Yes!

Thanks to everyone who has contributed so far, our guild hall has been upgraded with some pretty awesome features. In the post above, you can see a map with Synthesizer Nodes and Tavern labelled. Those are the two areas this section is talking about.

Gathering Nodes

Our gathering nodes are located on the northern outer ring of our Scribe area.

You can gather the Cloth, Berry, Leather, Vegetable, and Herb Synthesizers three times per daily reset. Ore and Lumber Synthesizers can be gathered "ten" times (two animations that give four and one final animation that gives two) per daily reset.

Desert Foraging/Logging/Mining Dailies can be completed here when they are active, for those who have Path of Fire.

Free 24 Hour Boosts

Nathan the Bartender offers free 24 hour boosts. Although his interface makes it seem like you can buy boost items, there is no physical item involved. Once you "purchase" your boost, it is immediately active. You may only have one of these boosts active at a time and purchasing another will overwrite the original one.

There's something for everyone:
  • Guild Crafting Boost - Increase critical crafting chance by 20%. This is excellent for squeezing the most out of your materials while leveling a crafting skill!
  • Map Bonus Rate Increase - Gain map bonuses 10% faster.
  • Guild Gathering Boost - Increase chance to find rare materials from mining, logging, and harvesting by 20%.
  • Guild Karma Boost - Increase Karma gain by 10%.
  • Guild Magic Find Boost - Magic Find Increased by 10%.
  • Guild XP Gain - Increase experience gained by 10%.
  • Guild PvP Reward Track - Increase PvP Reward Track gain by 10%.
  • Guild WXP Gain - Increase WvW experience gain by 10%.
  • Guild WvW Reward Track - Increase WvW reward-track gain by 10%.
Super Adventure Festival special note: Entering the Super Adventure Box will remove all boosts and buffs, so remember to go reapply when you're done.
