Secret Skritt Gift Exchange: Anyone interested? :)

Would anyone be interested in doing a GW2 Secret Skritt gift exchange this year in game? We could put the names of those interested in a "hat" (i.e. a random internet name-matcher) and folks would have by December 31st to get their match a gift. I'm not quite sure how we'd give the gifts through in-game mail anonymously - I'm open to ideas! I also think a good rule of thumb would be no "junk" gifts but spend no more than 250 gems or 1 gold, for example.

That sounds fun! The only way for gifting anonymously I can think of is to gift items directly from the gem store - as you noticed recently, the BLTP message does not contain the sender's name. I don't think there's a way for a player to send anonymous mails.

Hmm. Maybe we could have an officer act as a kind of "clearing house" for some of the gifts that are not BLTP-based? i.e. an officer could collect gifts and send them to their various recipients and preserve at least semi-anonymity.

I also don't mind doing that as long as everyone's okay with it - I don't want to make more work for the officers
