  • Triboar - from Myrtul 22 to Flamerule 12
    - Mara has been resurrected, that cost a lot of money!
    - shopping montage, so much dragonstuff
    - 5 weeks of downtime

    Gutbur - Visions and Owls
    - goes into the wild for 4 weeks
    - visions of black lions vs red tiger clans
    - comes back to the town, where men hoot at him and respect his owl powers
    - kids look up to him and hoot, calling him the great owl-bearbarian

    Daesy - playing Civilization
    - now officially proficient in herbarlism
    - makes healing potion
    - help farmers start building a granary

    Boske - starting secret mason society
    - now officially proficient in masonry kit.
    - helped the locals with small statues and repair in stone work.

  • No more downtime, time to get to business
    - Herbalist Tarmack is looking for us, want us to retrieve a rare flower for his potion making.
    - flower grows in a old Mansion NE, in the woods, that used to be the artist painter Rolen Avrigod's abode.
    - Last adventurer group to have done this quest for him, only one came back. He left for the mansion as a young adventurer, came back an old man and died shortly after.
    - group agrees to get this midnight violet flower.

    - On the dirt path to the mansion, we find a stuff toy unicorn.
    - Enter the mansion, we hear a small boy voice talking
    - first room has a skeleton with magic armor (unidentified, in bag of holding), a flower and some thieves tool (mara), 30gp (party fund)

    • — ghast blood, 3 vials (rub it on yourself, ad for 1 hour undead have disadvantage to find you if you're hidden. (No crafting needed)

Session Number 30: Crazy cats!
Game Date: Wednesday, December 18, 2019
Players: Daesyrliniwich (Baiz), Mara (Kermit), Zorroth (Zelldeb), Norm (Ojike), Bos'ke (Tundrra), Gutbur (Lasarian) Dungeon Master: Talolan

Evergarde Mansion - Master's room
- Back in the Master's room, a blue ghostly appearance of a lady appears
- She brushes her hair, then lay down in the bed, calling out to Rolan to come to sleep
- Norm goes across the hall and carries Rolan skeleton and lays it down beside the ghost.
- The blue lady spirit is put to rest.
(1000xp each)

Evergarde Mansion -basement
- Using hidden stairs, the group goes to the basement, unable to find a way to the garden.
- The Unfinished basement contains a boy's coffin in the middle of the large room and a side room that was broken into (existing pre-mansion) with a black evil faced pedestal.
- Opening the coffin, there's a boy half-elf skeleton and at his feet a locked puzzle box.
- "Herbet" is type on the puzzle box by Mara's mage hand, the name of the boy, which unlocks it
- Inside is another magic box. Norm investigates believing it's a some kind of planar prison where the daughter is trapped. He hears a disembodied voice saying "loveliest of yours"
- Norm says "True Love", the key word, unlocking a demon creature...not the daughter...Roll for initiative
- Battle vs Mr TimTom (who summons some zombies and ghast)
- we prevail!
- Harvest 4 claws, 6 vials of blood, 10lbs of flesh, 12lbs of hide.
- The boy is now at rest!

Evergarde Mansion - Kitchen mess
- Still looking for a way to the courtyard, the group heads to the butler elevator that had the 1 ghast in it previously. Mara and Gutbur go down first. Roll for initiative...
- 8 Zombies and a Ghast are waiting for them at the bottom. Gutbur flexes his muscles inspired by Mara's magic and the duo promptly dispatch them by the time the rest of the group makes it down.

Evergarde Mansion - Dining room
Back on the main floor, we explore the dining room. Get some 8x silverware table settings(100gp)

Evergarde Mansion - courtyard
- The courtyard has a weird ass shape pond littered with small skeletons and a glass greenhouse,
- The path to the greenhouse is overgrown rough terrain
- Norm dimension door to the greenhouse door and 50 feral cats jump out and scare him, attacking him in their retreat.
- Daesy talks with the cats, and asks them to flee the scene.
- Bos'ke unaware of Daisy’s request torches the tall grass...hating cats it seems, as they flee he keep killing some, Daesy is not happy
- Mara loves cats, she tries to adopt one, and gets a scratch in return... hopefully won't loose an eye...
- 400 flowers are harvested

Long Rest at the Mansion, magic item are identified

You can use an action to speak the prison's command word (true love), targeting a creature that you can see within 60 feet of you. If the target is native to a plane of existence other than the one you're on, the target must succeed on a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or be trapped in the prison. If the target has been trapped by the prison before, it has advantage on the saving throw. Once trapped, a creature remains in the prison until released. The prison can hold only one creature at a time. A creature trapped in the prison doesn't need to breathe, eat, or drink and doesn't age.

Session Number 31: no 20s for 2020 except for the DM!
Game Date: Wednesday, January 01, 2020
Players: Daesyrliniwich (Baiz), Mara (Kermit), Norm (Ojike), Gutbur (Lasarian) Dungeon Master: Talolan
Absent: Zorroth (Zelldeb), Bos'ke (Tundrra)

Flamerule 13 - return to triboar
  • The group heads back to Triboar droping Bos'ke and Zorroth at the Frog. While there Mara asks for a mannequin to be built in order to display her dragon's armor. As we go to turn in the 400 flowers and pocket 250gp each, we notice 3 dignitaries entering the Lord Protector's tower.

    Mara and Norm visit the Merchant of the day. A Weapon merchant has a Javelin of Lightning, quiver that holds infinite number of arrow and greatsword that warns of danger for sell (500gp each). After hard bargaining and a grumpy merchant, Mara manage to buy the "Oswin's Spear" for 499gp.

    Meanwhile Gutbur visit his brother from another mother the smith and picks up a half plate. The group drop the 2 dragon head to be mounted (20gp each) to put up along the one already completed. As the evening set, the only rumors heard at the inn is about a city that vanished way south by Baldur's Gate. Long rest
Flamerule 14 - Money, Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash
Next morning the Darathra the Lord Protector comes to the Frog with the 3 dignitaries and wants to ask us a huge Favor. We are introduced to Mirt, an alledged masked Lord of Waterdeep and his 2 henchment. Mirt the Moneylender explains that Waterdeep needs Oswin Spear. He shows us the Harper's pin and the fact that Darathra reached out to him about her predicament. Even if she is the heir to the trone, she doesn't quite want it now. But Mirt explain that something has to be done about Lord Daegul Nevermember. He used to be a Lord of Waterdeep, but he embezzled huge amount of gold from the city and took over Neverwinter as it's ruler. Now he is expending his reach on the Neverwinter region by rebuilding a town named Leilon. Mirt explains that Waterdeep cannot go openly against him without causing a war (and the Lord's armies are away anyway investigating the city holy Eterel by Baldur's Gate that just disappeared, leaving a crater). So instead, by sending us, Oswin Spear who has no real ties to Waterdeep, but are building Triboar's reputation, to Leilon would make sense. The plan is to stop what Lord Daegul is doing down there amd take over the abandon city. Now the city itself is in shambles, mostly a tent city with few wood buildings and the only stone structures under construction is a temple to Tyr. Mirt would protect Darathra while we are doing this mission, that could take a long time to complete. When ask about payments, Mirt explains that recently they uncover a cache of Lord Daegul's stolen money with 250 000gp in it, and said that the Lords of Waterdeep would use 75000gp to pay us upon success. Gutbur packed his things... Mirt gave 2000gp advance money (added to cart money)

Flamerule 19 - On the road to zombies
The group grabbed the potions and rations and set up on the road. The expected travel is 6 days, first the plan was to go straight to Leilon, assess the situation then either go to Phandallin or send message back with what's needed . On the road on day 5, as we get to a T in the road (north to Neverwinter, East back on Triboar Trail, South to Leilon (1day), there's an inn under attack by 4 zombies and 2 wraiths. Roll for initiative. The group promptly dispatch them, not without rolling pretty bad...

Wayside inn - Poor Rolls to end the night
After saving the inn, we go in to spend the night. The owner thanks us and offer free lodging and 1 beer. This is the wayside inn and Marticia is the owner. There's a chef cook that seem to have known battles and a bard as well in the inn and a few patrons. Gutbur investigate the Zombies and see their steps lead back toward the sea (several miles west). We get excellent pie. Norm does some relationship building between the inn and Triboar. Daesy talks about Leilon to get more info but not much is provided. Mara goes in a friendly lute battle vs the bard and get her butt kicked. The only info the bard knows about Lord Daegul is that back when he took power, the group called the Sons of Alagandor were against him, but he just bought everyone around them to gain his position. Group talks to another halfling women named Silon playing harmonica who wants to be a fisherwomen in Leilon.

A big muscle lady comes out from a back room. She is more built than Gutbur and sit at the bar. The owner gives her trouble for not coming to help with the zombies, to which she replies she didn't hear anything in her smitty. Gutbur buys her a drink (well Mara buys her a drink on behalf of Gutbur) but she's not interrested. She shows her bracers with 3 lightning she made.

Session Number 32: Child care issues...
Game Date: Wednesday, January 8, 2020
Players: Daesyrliniwich (Baiz), Mara (Kermit), Zorroth (Zelldeb), Norm (Ojike), Bos'ke (Tundrra), Gutbur (Lasarian) Dungeon Master: Talolan

Scaring children away - Flamerule 20
The group wakes up after a long rest at the inn. Gutbur announce he has a holy day coming in 2 months. Some people think getting ready for Christmas before veterans day is odd, but Gutbur needs 2months prep... As the group is about 1 miles out of Leilon, they come upon a mob of about 50 people, tending gardens and in ramshackle. In the middle of it all, an angry dwarf is yelling to everyone to hear, but no one is. A human in Neverwinter livery is banging on his shield to grab everyone's attention. The dwarf explains that something happened in Leilon, but no one knows. A panic took the villagers out, they blindly followed each other here. The dwarf is asking to see if anyone know what's going on. The most we understand is that fisherman raised the alarms and panic ensued. There are still 2 kids missing from the evacuation.

This is when Norm scares everyone with mirror images of himself. Children from the fortune camp scampers away and Oswin's spears has to corral them back. Once done, we introduce ourselves to Grizzelda Copperwaught the dwarf and the human Sergeant Hazz Yorrum. The dragonborn who indicated missing children is Merrygold Brightshine.

Laying the Law in Leilon - Flamerule 20
We start walking to the village, and about halfway we encounter a group of archers (3) and their boss (3) riding water horses. They all ride with the symbol of Talos (3 lightning bolt) showing. We attempt to stop and parley, but they want none of it. Roll for Initiative!

Mara throws Oswin's spear to launch the hostilities (again, first move of combat is the spear!). After promptly dispatching the higher ranking dudes, the archers, who were useless with Baiz' windwall, attempt to flee. We catch them after Norms's well placed Eldritch Blast blew their wagon wheel and dispatch all of them except one. Bos'ke and Zorroth attempts to interrogate him, only to be met by zealous talks of Talos' will. The only thing we get out of him is that one of their priest is currently in the city.

Time to clean up Talos' mess
The group keep going toward Leilon and enter the city. We notice a Tiefling lady doing a ceremony on the village's warf in front of a group of 6 Talos cultist. Behind the building she is standing in front of, the 2 children are hiding behind boxes. It's only a matter of time before they are found!

Session ends as the group prepare to save the kids.

Flamerule 20 - Battle at the docks
- This whole session was a long fight...
- First Daesy cast silence on the shaman summoning a tempest and also manage to grab a few cultist in the range. Roll for Initiative...
- Mara is clutch with her Faery Fires, lighting up everyone except 1 cultist.
- While the group engage the cultist, Bos'ke goes after the tiefling shaman who moved out the silence area to keep invoking her god with her ritual.
- Zorroth farts (I don't remember why, but it's cannon).
- Mara surge her wild magic for the next minute, Gutbur calls for burning the witch!
- We finish the last of the cultists group, but the ritual has taken.

Boss fight change forms, this was a 2 stage fight... WILD!
- The wild energy summons 2 Water Elementals and 2 Water Weird from the sea and they engage the party.
- Not to be left alone, Mara surge 8 flumphs who farts in the air. Mixed with the water elemental, that's a lot of bubbles!
- Zorroth throws his last bead of fireball, cleaning up what's left.
- Norm enjoy Mara's show of surge magic for another minute, saves the kids (yes, there was kids)
- A unicorn appears.
- A unicorn disappears.

Session Number 34: We are playing Civilizations
Game Date: Wednesday, January 22, 2020

Flamerule 20 - Securing Leilon
  • -The Party searchs what's left of the cultist's bodies 250gp (cart), scroll of mass cure wounds (Baiz)
    - Over at the small island off the docks are 2 groups of unconscious fishermen that weren't able to flee to safety prior to the attack. They were just put to sleep. Bos'ke check on them and no new information provided by them about the origin of the attack.
    - Norm and Gutbur scout the rest of the village, no more threat discovered.
Flamerule 20 - Setting the Oswin's first Chapter house
  • - The group learn more about the politics of the village. It is a village with a town council lead by the dwarf Grizzela, the Hazz Yorrum Seargeant human, Merrygold Brightshine the Halfling all representative of Neverwinter, along with the Head priest of Lathander (from waterdeep) and Valdi Estapaar, half elf from Leilon, head of the fishing industry.
    - Zorroth volunteered to dress as a pirate.
    - Over the next few days, the group check the politics of the village. As Neverwinter is funding the village, everyone is happy with the current situation. The group won't topple the power within a few days!
    - Oswin's spear buys the deed to their first Chapter house just North of the village for 1000gp.
    - Mara invests in a business with Alion Malwyn the inn owner, and Sends letters to her uncle for beer
<4 days of downtime in the city>

Flamerule 24 - The GOAT
  • - Grizzelda takes the offer from the Group for helping villagers. Somehow we, who is suppose to build Waterdeep Cred, end up in the employment of Neverwinter... hmmmm
    - Grizzelda assigned 1 stonemason to our rebuilding efforts while we are gone.
    - Oswin's spear is asked to protect a large herd of giant Goats to Phandalin, and bring back wagons. We begin the escort of Pinchwit Wiggleboot' flock of goats which The trek should be around 7 days
Flamerule 26 - Attack from above
  • - 2 days in two wyverns attack while we are out in the wild.
    - Roll for initiative
    - We get some wyvern spoils
    - Bos'ke lost his horse and with the help of Daesy rides one of the giant goats...

Flamerule 27 - morning after a long rest. Day 3 of 7 of the trek

-Goats are skiddish and alert, feel like they are being hunted from the south, stalked.
-Gutbur heads out on his own to scout.
-Gutbur sees a pack of eight orge's tracking the flock.
-2 of them see movement and Gutbur breaks stealth and charges back to the group shouting the alarm.
-illusion of a worn out gutbur casted by boske

Session Number 36: "kobold and undead sandwich"
  • Game Date: Wednesday, Feb 12, 2020
    Players: Daesyrliniwich (Baiz), Norm (Ojike), Bos'ke (Tundrra), Gutbur (Lasarian), Zorroth (Zelldeb)

woot! level 6

In the streets of Phandalin on Shieldmeat, the morning after a long rest in the middle of combat.
  • -The Red headed woman and her Kobolts attack the party from the north,
    -zombies approach from the south,
    -Evil or Ally? we watch the zombie horde get closer.

    -the hooded leader of the undead took a swipe at Mara, leading us to believe they are leaning on the Evil side. Clawed hands grip her, picking her up with an attempt to sink its fangs in her under its dark robes.
    -Spirit guardians explode from Daesy and Zorroth (pixies and little dragons with dragon fly wings)
    -3 kobolds get through to knock out Daesy's pixies.
    -Zorroth is swarmed by zombies becoming petrified.
    -Boske moves to help Mara, who splits into mirrored images of herself.
    -Gutbur explodes a few kobolds and heads to help the healers.
    -Norm downs a bottle of speed and rushes after the fleeing red headed rogue.
    -Daesy brings a divine spirit to turn the weaker minded undead.
    -Norm becomes a lighting fast death machine, killing 3 baddies in one turn.
    -Daesys pixies return.
    -and the remaining enemies fall under the swarms of guardians.

    -The undead have skull marks on their head. (same as the ones that attacked the wayside inn)
    -Mara believes it was some kind of vampire under that hood and cloak.

Stonehill Inn
  • -nothing of interest found in the bedroom at the Inn.
    -at the stables where the kobolds were sleeping, daesy spoke with the horses and discovered little else
Heading back to Leilon
  • -3 fully laden carts are driven back, it only takes a full day of travel and we reached Leilon at dusk.
    -leaving the cart at the town square, some additional exploring of the town's shop begin.
Pecularities Shoppe
  • -Aubrey Silverspun the shop keep.
    -he gave us a bit of history about the tower of "Thalivar"
    -A painting of some old heroes of the town known as the "swords of Leilon" hangs on the wall.
