Hello all,
With all the talk about NOR's History & Future games;
I felt that it was important to bring myself up to speed with a few
of the games that NOR's veterans started with.
I chose Imagination Network's "The Shadows of Yserbius" as my start.
Yes, you heard me...I have installed a running modem on an older computer and
I am currently logging into "The Imagination Network Revival Project".
Last night I enjoyed this old school dungeon crawl, and compared to
the wizardry games I have also been playing; Yserbius has great grafix & animations.
I sincerely hope that my gaming research into Yserbius will strengthen my
relationships with the people in NOR that make it such a good guild.
One point to quickly make, while being a proponent of our podcast,
and a regular reader of the High Council meeting minutes, is...
NOR members do actually benefit from all the hard work other Norbies
do for us while keeping us informed, and we actually benefit from the information therein.
With that said, I am going to take Yserbius as far as I can without a party.
Maybe we have other Norbies that would like to hear how I did it,
and even possibly start an Yserbius GLUE event.
How cool would it be to get a group of Norbies together in the game that
started it all?
