yep, but the swords and shields can change to keep it organic. but the idea of the * / as the theme is what i like:)

organic, that the concept grows and changes, so its not always the exact same sword and shield. For a logo yes, consistent is important, but a mascot is just a theme. For instance i was sketching a lightsaber(sword) and shield the other day. or some my be inspired by a katana and sheild, each game has a different feel and time era .

I admit, I do like the sword and shield idea. Especially Tundra's "organic" idea, that it could change as we change... But on that note, this is why I really feel like a "real" animal fits us better. We're not just any ol' guild. We are a living, breathing, giggling, snorting, boasting embodiment of the guild's core values and beliefs. Sure, we've changed here and there, I've seen it in the years I've been here for sure. However, we're more than a community, we're family!

Not trying to soapbox here, so just throwin' my two cents in with: I like the idea of a living "animal" more than a sword/shield. Although any consensus the majority comes to, I'll fully support.
