It was reported during Activision/Blizzard's last earnings call that WoW was down do 9 million active subscribers. This from around 11 million at the Cataclysm launch in December 2010 (and a high of 12 million around the time that the Icecrown Citadel raid opened). SW:TOR cut into the numbers, then GW2 cut into the numbers.
Blizzard announced today that WoW is back over 10 million and its still rising because Mists didn't launch on the same date in all regions around the world.
